Blood, Sweat & Tears

Pixie's first real rip. She's officially a big girl gymnast, haha! A couple of weeks ago she got a rip while doing kips. She was very brave about the whole thing. In fact, she was really proud of her battle scar...grinning ear to ear when I picked her up from gymnastics.

She still wont be getting grips. That's a right of passage given only to "official" Level 5's. So, she may get plenty more rips before all is said and done.

I'm not so sure she'll be smiling after she gets more! If the worst she gets are rips, this season, I can live with that...

Wow! How focused you must be to ignore the pain to accomplish a new skill. I can't wait to see you perform soon. You must be very proud of your battle scar of honor. I can see a little of your mother and great grand mother Gibson in your spirit and courage. You take after your mema when it comes to your tenacity. Keep up the fantastic work ethics and apply it to all you do. I am very proud of you, lady bug.
